Professor Rosario Patiño Molina

 

Mª Rosario Patiño Molina is Professor of Organic Chemistry of the University of Valladolid and from 2010 is member of the RRG Thermal Energy Engineering.

She got the degree in Chemistry at the Autonomous University of Madrid and finished her PhD in Organic Chemistry in 1996, being awarded in 1997 by the Foundation José Antonio de Artigas y Sanz for the best doctoral thesis. After that she was researching in the High Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) in Madrid, at the Medical Chemistry Institute (1997-98).

Additionally to participate in national and international research projects, she has supervised degree dissertations and doctoral theses and she is author of numerous publications such as books, book chapters and articles, in national and international journals, as well as congress contributions.

Her teaching activity covers different signatures within the Organic Chemistry Area for the teaching program of different degrees of Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial Organization and Chemical Engineering) at the High Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the University of Valladolid. Furthermore, she has participated in various innovative teaching projects, for which she has been evaluated as Excellent within the DOCENTIA program.
