Javier Mª Rey Hernández is lecturer of the Department of Technical Education of the European University Miguel de Cervantes. He is a Mechanical Engineer with an expertise in HVAC Engineering and Master in Energy. He finished his PhD in 2019 in Industrial Engineering getting the International Mention with his thesis about zero energy and zero carbon emission buildings (ZEB y ZCO2B) developing the monitoring and the energy modeling and simulation of selected buildings.
He has experience as lecturer in degree and master courses at the University of Valladolid and the European University Miguel de Cervantes, and as researcher at national and international levels with stays in prestigious research centers of Germany and Malta.
He participates from 2014 in different national and European research projects and is member of the Council of ITAP (Institute of Advanced Production Technologies) that carries out diverse researches participated by multidisciplinary teams of engineers and physicians from the University of Valladolid.
He was selected in 2019 in an European competition for the Academic of Future Energy Leaders (under 34 years old) supported by the European Commission in order to represent Spain.
