Dr. mª Ascensión Sanz Tejedor

 

Ascensión Sanz Tejedor is graduated in Chemical Sciences by the University of Granada and PhD in Chemical Sciences by the University of Valladolid. She is Senior Lecturer of the University of Valladolid at the High Technical School of Industrial Engineering. From 2015 she is member of the Consolidated Research Unit 053, collaborating actively with the Recognized Research Group Thermal Energy Engineering.

Her field of study is centered in combustion technology and the carbaniones chemistry, for the physical and chemical composition characterization of biofuels and the study of their combustion for thermal purposes, paying special attention to the energy efficiency and the contaminant emissions in order to reduce them to the maximum and always below the established thresholds by regulation.
